Studio secrets revealed in Gallery Talk August 1

As part of its ongoing one-man exhibition "The Wine of Life," the Norris Gallery in St. Charles presents artist Nick Freeman, who will provide a lively look behind the scenes and describe his step-by-step oil painting methods in a talk on Friday, August 1 at 7 pm.

Suitable for artists and non-artists alike, this free presentation will be preceded by live music and refreshments beginning at 6 pm. The exhibition of Freeman's realist paintings and photography has received an enthusiastic response from the public and has been extended through August 30. A gala fundraising auction, featuring several of Freeman's works, is being held on Friday, August 15.

The Norris Gallery is located at 1040 Dunham Road, next to St. Charles East High School. Regular hours are 11 - 4 pm Monday through Saturday and admission is free. More information is available at norrisculturalarts.com.
