Motorola Solutions Retirees' Club awards scholarships
The Motorola Solutions Retirees' Club held its annual College Scholarship Award Day June 18 at the Schaumburg Campus in the Innovation Center. This year, the club awarded 13 scholarships and the Motorola Foundation awarded 10 scholarships.
Since the Motorola Solutions Retirees' Club started in 1995, it has awarded 277 scholarships totaling $409,000. The Motorola Solutions Retirees' Club is proud to be able to do this since all money for scholarships comes strictly from dues and donations made by members of the club.
Students are selected by a panel from Harper College.
