North Suburban Youth Jazz to Hold Open Auditions

The North Suburban Youth Jazz Ensemble will be holding open auditions for students in 6-8th grades for it's spring session. Auditions will take place on Monday, February 10th at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center (2007 N Civic Center Way Round Lake Beach, Illinois 60073) from 6-8pm. NSYJ rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm starting on Monday, February 17th and continues for 16 weeks concluding with a final concert. NSYJ strives to offer middle school music students the opportunity to meet and perform with like-minded student musicians from other surrounding area schools, foster a life long love of music, and offer other community enrichment opportunities as they present themselves.
