Accretive Health kicks it out of the park for St. Joseph Services
As part of its ongoing commitment to philanthropy, Accretive Health recently hosted a kickball tournament to support St. Joseph Services. St. Joseph Services is an organization that offers programs to individuals and families in some of Chicago’s most underserved communities.
Held in the fields of Chicago’s Lincoln Park South, the fun-filled event raised approximately $1,800 to support a range of educational programs for the youth and families of the Humboldt Park and Austin communities. “We are thrilled that we got the chance to have some fun with our coworkers while supporting such a fantastic cause,” said Diana Baren, an Accretive Health employee who is also a member of the St. Joseph Services Junior Board. “Accretive Health is proud to support St. Joseph Services in its mission to serve and support families and individuals at risk, partnering with them to strengthen and develop their values and talents to reach their full potential.”
Accretive Health employees are encouraged to look for ways to help their local community. Additionally, individual employees volunteer weekly at St. Joseph Services’ sites, host smaller fundraising events at Accretive Health’s corporate office, and support other St. Joseph Services’ sponsored fundraisers, held around the Chicago metropolitan area.
