Hip Hop Explosion Dance Party on the Beach for Kids age 7 plus

Kids age 7 plus are invited to attend Hip Hop Explosion on Friday September 20th, 7pm-9pm at Three Oaks Recreation area at the Beach along with the Crystal Lake Centennial Festival.

Boys and Girls are encouraged to wear any shade of blue. Color Theme is suggested but optional. The event is Free in honor of the Crystal Lake Centennial Celebration.

The event is being moved from Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at the Historic Dole Mansion to THREE OAKS RECREATIONAL CENTER as a part of the City of Crystal Lake Centennial Kick-Off Celebration.

Hip Hop Explosion for the month of September will be located at Three Oaks Recreational Area on the Beach. Parking will be by shuttle bus from the old Walmart parking lot on RT. 14. Check-in for Hip Hop will be by the Beach building at Three Oaks Recreational Area. Dancing will take place on the Beach.

Participants can bring money to purchase Jamba Juice, Culvers and other food from the vendors at Three Oaks Recreational Area. The Centennial Kick-Off also includes live music, a carnival, and beverage tent. The Hip Hop Explosion is free of charge as is the vendor food area. To participate in the carnival or enter the main stage there is a $5 charge for adults and ride ticket rates will apply for the carnival. Click here for more information on the Kick-Off event.
