This photo was taken on vacation in Italy this June. I love Venice and this picture shares the serenity of the city. Venice is a city unlike others because of its position on the water. It is a busy city but has a peaceful atmosphere in its canals. This shot was taken sitting in a gondola and the water was perfectly calm to show the reflection of the buildings. This was taken in LaSalle Canyon of Starved Rock State Park in the early morning of July 12th. I Took the photo to capture the waterfall to the left along with the smaller fall entering the pool.
