St. Hubert Makes a Difference

The St. Hubert School community collected a total of 1,991 food items as participants in National Make a Difference Day on October 27, 2012. Student Council members made daily pick-up visits to classrooms and kept count of canned goods, pasta, baking items, cereal, laundry materials, and paper goods throughout the week. Parent volunteers helped fifth grade students transport seven carloads of needed items to a local food pantry. The students learned a valuable lesson and now have a real understanding that working together, we can make a difference in the world!
