Prospect shoots 146, tops Fremd

Jeff Blethen and Ryan Maloney shot 36 to help visiting Prospect (146) pick up a victory over Fremd (156) in boys golf on Tuesday at Hilldale.

Zach Schutz led the effort for the Vikings with a 37.

Ÿ Seniors Ryan Curran and Zach Piepho shared medalist honors with 38s as host Conant (161) topped Hoffman Estates (172) at par-35 Bridges of Poplar Creek.

Jason Girard (39) led the way for the Hawks.

Ÿ Dan Wojtowicz led the way with a 1-over 36 as Rolling Meadows (158) delivered a strong score in a victory over Schaumburg at Schaumburg Golf Course.

Jake Hill shot 38, and Matt Kuzniar and Pat O’Neill had 42s for the Mustangs.

Carmen Valerio (39) had Schaumburg’s low score.

Ÿ Elk Grove’s Ryan White earned medalist honors with a 37, but Barrington’s Greg Conrad and Mike Ross both shot 38s as the host Broncos (157) topped the Grens (177).
