Minted Strawberries
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
½ cup sugar
4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
Additional mint leaves as optional garnish
Combine strawberries, sugar and juice; let sit 30-60 minutes to create juice. Stir in mint just before serving.
Makes about 4 cups; enough for one pound cake.
