Arts in Bartlett debuts 'Heaven' June 16-17

Arts in Bartlett is proud to present its summer play, "Heaven." Written and directed by AiB Adult Theatre veteran Russ Devereaux, "Heaven" will be performed at the Nature Center auditorium at James Pate Phillip State Park, 2054 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett on June 16 at 7 p.m. and June 17 at 3 p.m.

This hysterical play follows normal guy Archie Bolder, who is instantly ripped from his mundane life on Earth, only to be tossed through the pearly gates. As Archie stumbles through Heaven's admission process he is encounters an assortment of unexpected characters including his very own Afterlife Concierge Cynthia, Peter the Moral Auditor, a disgruntled DMV attendant, and the King himself. We invite you to follow Archie as he pursues eternal peace in the most peaceful of places.

The cast: Galen Malick, Katie Batt, Brianne Durfey, Debbie Fowler, Rita Lopienski, Dean Pearson and Scott Surowiecki.
