Bartlett 4, South Elgin 2: Ryan Roszkowski and Colin Nowak had home runs and Dan Gallanis pitched a complete-game 3-hitter with 6 strikeouts as Bartlett won 2 of 3 from South Elgin. Giacomo Visconti also had 2 hits for the Hawks in the Upstate Eight Valley win.

Kaneland 8, Cary-Grove 2: Matt DiCicco was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI and Nick Beyer had 2 hits for Cary-Grove in this nonconference loss. Zach Marszal took the loss for the Trojans (20-13).

Prairie Ridge 8, Burlington Central 7: The Wolves scored 6 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Rockets. Tanner Scott had his 13th home run of the season for BC (23-9), while Zach Ranney (3-for-4, 2B) and Alex Bell (2-for-3) also contributed. Kevin Zasada was the losing pitcher.
