Huntley 0, Lyons 0: The Red Raiders (7-4-4) were able to earn a draw against Lyons in the Pepsi Showdown. Jessica Galason turned away 4 shots on goal.

Rockford Guilford 7, Larkin 2: Jaci Bridgers recorded both goals for the Royals (1-12-1), but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Rockford Guilford. Liz Granda stopped 9 shots on goal.

Burlington Central 3, Mendota 0: The Rockets (10-5-1) carried an early 2-0 lead into the second half and never looked back as they defeated Mendota in the DeKalb Barbfest Tournament. Cali Andrew, Alyssa Messina, and Maddie Stoneman all found the back of the net for the Rockets and Caitlin Solberg earned her seventh shut out of the season with 7 saves.

Dekalb 1, Burlington Central 0 (PKS): In the championship match, the Rockets (10-5-1) fell to the host Barbs, losing in a shoot out 4-3. Maddie Stoneman, Lindsey Puccio, and Cassie Ciganek all recorded shoot out goals. Caitlin Solberg turned away 15 shots on goal.

Wheeling 2, Dundee-Crown 1: The Chargers (1-14) fell at the Lake Park Invite. Carolyn Schneider scored the Chargers’ lone goal while Denise Maldonado recorded 6 saves in goal.

Jacobs 1, Stevenson 1: The Golden Eagles (9-5-3) and the Patriots each recorded a goal in the second half to earn a draw at the Pepsi Showdown. Margaret Rivera scored for the Golden Eagles on an assist from Catie Sherman. Alyssa Koeppler recorded 9 saves in goal.

Elgin Academy 2, Aurora Central Catholic 1: Ashley Barnes recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Hilltoppers to a nonconference victory on the road. Angie Martinez scored the Hilltoppers other goal while Allsion Wittmeyer turned away 7 shots on goal.
