Those who yelled loudest were heard
I attended the Milton Township Annual Meeting for the first time. I found it informative and benefited from hearing (when possible) the comments and questions from the attendees.
However, I noticed two things at the meeting: 1. The votes were won by those who shouted loudest. A vote by ballot would have been more accurate and credible — yes, there were 250 attendees, but the tally could have been accomplished. 2. Attendees from unincorporated areas were very complimentary of services performed by the township.
Next year I hope all attendees who speak at the meeting will be required to use the microphone, which was provided but not used.
