Let your four-legged friend in on the Easter fun

Dog owners are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the Batavia Bark Park, 40W101 W. Main St., to hunt for treat-filled eggs on Saturday, March 31 at noon at the first-ever Doggie Easter Egg Hunt. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., but owners are invited to come early to browse a variety of pet-friendly booths and take a photo of your pooch with the Easter Bunny!

Specially marked eggs will be hidden with prizes inside from sponsors, including Pet Supplies Plus, Animal House Veterinary Hospital, DePaw University, Petland, Invisible Fence and Wet Nose. Owners can also register to win a variety of raffle prizes.

Dogs must be leashed during the egg hunt, but owners are welcome to stick around after the event to let their dog run off leash in the three acre, fenced-in Bark Park. The park will officially open for the season at the conclusion of the egg hunt.

For more information or to register for the Doggie Easter Egg Hunt, please call 630-879-5235 or visit www.bataviaparks.org. “Like” the Batavia Park District on Facebook for $2 off registration.
