Miss Carole of Macaroni Soup Brings Music to the Museum
Nationally known but locally grown musician Miss Carole of Macaroni Soup comes to the Arlington Heights Historical Museum with two programs this spring. Don't miss out on her energetic and engaging music and movement activities.
Macaroni Soup: Teachers Workshop is on Tuesday, April 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Early childhood education teachers and child care providers will experience easy-to-learn, developmentally appropriate music and movement activities for young children. The workshop is for teachers of all abilities to learn teaching techniques, classroom management, and early literacy skills. Songs and dances will be introduced to illustrate how to put these concepts into everyday use. Certificate for two training hours for DCFS required in-service will be provided. $10 fee, register at ahpd.org, program #1634-3.
Family Sing Along with Miss Carole meets twice, on Tuesdays, April 24 and May 1, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family together to sing, dance, and have fun! The program is targeted for ages 3-8 years old and their adults, yet younger and older family members enjoy it, too. $30 fee per family, register just one family member at ahpd.org, program #1586-4.
