COD Students Give Fire Science, Veterinary Assistant Demos at Yorktown Family Fest Feb. 11

The College of DuPage Fire Science and Continuing Education programs will give demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Family Fest at the Yorktown Shopping Center.

Students and representatives from the College's Veterinary Assistant program and EMT program will be on hand, along with medical experts, artists, face painters and representatives from education and political offices. Additional family entertainment includes hair braiding and feather weaving, photo restoration, free mini massages, crafts and travel and recreation opportunities.

Speakers are scheduled throughout the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
