Dist. 203 parent halts petition for superintendent’s resignation
The online petition drive demanding the immediate resignation of Naperville Unit District 203 Superintendent Mark Mitrovich has been suspended.Highland School parent Jason Moede created the petition Sunday in response to the district#146;s handling of possible boundary changes. Since Sunday, Moede has collected 165 names. On Thursday morning, though, he asked guests to the website to stop signing.#147;In the interest of promoting an honest, open-minded, and nonantagonistic exchange of ideas between District 203 and its residents, please consider this petition suspended until further notice,#148; he wrote on the website. #147;Please refrain from signing this petition until notice has been given that the petition is reopened.
