Montini 43, St. Edward 39: St. Edward (14-6, 3-4) came close, but the Green Wave couldn’t finish off the Suburban Christian Blue upset in Lombard, and lost to Montini for the 19th straight time. Maddie Kerr had 13 points and Rena Ranallo added 12 for St. Edward.

Jacobs 60, Prairie Ridge 54: Amy Becker had 18 points and Jennifer Barnec added 17 as Jacobs (4-15, 1-4) won this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game.

Hampshire splits: Hampshire defeated North Boone 50-36 and lost to Belvidere North 47-39 at the Byron shootout. The Whip-Purs (9-11) take on Sterling Newman at 1 p.m. Monday at Byron.
