Prospect snaps Stevenson streak
Prospect’s girls basketball team cooled off visiting Stevenson on Tuesday night.
The Knights won the nonconference game 45-42, snapping the Patriots’ six-game winning streak.
Katie Batman scored 17 points to lead Stevenson (6-2), while Olivia Whalen added 11.
Antioch 50, Westosha Central 39: Megan Borries hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points for the Sequoits in their nonconference road win.
Antioch (2-7) also got 7 points and 9 rebounds from Sarah Huebner.
Melanie Lass (two 3s) and Rachel Schwabe each had 6 points.
Grayslake North 39, Woodstock North 36: Brooke Sauer scored 12 points and Kendall Detweiler added 10 for the Knights.
Joanna Guhl pulled down 17 rebounds and scored 9 points for Grayslake North (4-3), which won its fourth in a row.
