Scouting report: The Raiders may not have a superstar, but they aim for success with a deep and flexible roster that has the capability to go big or small. “We’re able to match pretty much any lineup with this group,” Hardtke said. “We have a couple of different looks with our flexibility.” Between Despot, who averaged 12.5 points and 6 rebounds last year, Matt Jeske and Berrospi, the Raiders have plenty of experience to hit the ground running. They can go big with 6-6 Despot, 6-5, 290-pound Avaloy and 6-5 Marshall, or they can go smaller with Sanders, Rickette and Alex Jeske. Any one of them is capable of double-digit scoring on a given night. Strong backcourt defense from Sanders, Rickette and Alex Jeske will be key in the high-scoring MSC.
