Moscow Ballet helps homeless animals this holiday season
The Moscow Ballet presents “The Great Russian Nutcracker” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 at the Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, Rosemont. A portion of ticket sales will aid needy animals this holiday season.
The performance features award-winning principals Karyna Shatkovskaya and Vladimir Tkachenko along with 40 young dancers from Chicago's Southport Performing Arts Conservatory (SPACE).
Moscow Ballet has partnered with the Trio Animal Foundation (TAF) to raise desperately needed funds to help pay for the medical care of sick and injured homeless pets. This partnership has the potential to help countless needy animals and make them more likely to find a new home.
By using the code "TRIO" when purchasing tickets for the Rosemont performance on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2011, $5 from each ticket sold will directly benefit TAF programs.
