IC d. St. Edward: The Green Wave lost out on a chance to tie for the Suburban Christian Gold title with a 25-21, 25-23 loss to Immaculate Conception. Katie Swanson had 8 kills and 14 digs and Callie Johnson 8 kills, 3 digs and 4 blocks to lead St. Edward (17-12, 6-3). Sarah Norman added 5 kills and Allison Kruk had 16 digs. Katie Ayello dished out 18 assists.
Metea Valley d. South Elgin: Alyssa Montag and Sam Kummerer had 4 kills each for South Elgin (7-14-1, 2-3) in a 25-19, 25-21 Upstate Eight Valley loss.
