Fall Fest offers free family fun Oct. 27 at Vernon Hills YMCA

There's seasonal fun for the whole family free of charge at Fall Fest from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, in Vernon Hills. Activities include fall-themed games and crafts, pumpkin carving or coloring, and bobbing for apples. Participants can then head to the pool at 7 p.m. for a family swim.

Fall Fest is one of the Family Fun Night programs offered at Lake County Family YMCA's Vernon Hills facility. These special events are designed to provide a setting for families to strengthen their relationships while participating in a variety of fun activities and meeting other families. In addition to being free of charge, no registration is required for Family Fun Night activities.
