Liszt Grand Prix du Disque Winner Performs at COD Oct. 19

Five faculty members from College of DuPage's Music program will perform at a 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, recital at the McAninch Arts Center at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Faculty musicians include Alexander Djordjevic, Svetlana Krasnova, Barbara Geis, Karol Sue Reddington and Michael Fritsch on piano and Carolyn May on flute.

Djordjevic's CD, “Gray Clouds: Piano Music of Franz Liszt,” is the 2010 winner of the Hungarian Liszt Society's 35th Annual Franz Liszt International Grand Prix du Discque. He will perform Liszt's “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-Sharp Minor” as part of the Oct. 19 recital.

Tickets to the faculty concert are $4.
