Bloom Children's Center adds unique value to Warrenville

WARRENVILLE, IL. AUGUST 29, 2011: Bloom Children's Center is a brand new child care center with a one-of-a-kind curriculum that is taking Warrnville by Storm. In celebration of the new brand Bloom Children's Center will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce that will take place at the child care center on Sept. 8 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The ceremony will include Mayor David Brummel, and is open to anyone within the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce and the existing families. David Brummel, mayor of Warrenville adds: "With our economy in Warrenville always evolving, it is great to see a new child care center like Bloom add value to our town."

The center released its new brand with a bang at the Warrenville Summer Daze festival where the staff was doing art projects with all the children. David Sabathne President/CEO of the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce adds: “Caring parents simply cannot function at their best if they are concerned about the care their children are getting when they are away. Having a child care center like Bloom can really help put the parents mind at ease."

Bloom has introduced a new concept to child care called a Personal Development Portfolio which incorporates the Illinois Early Learning Standards with an age appropriate curriculum.

The Personal Development Portfolio or "PDP" is a binder filled with milestones that children are expected to meet in each classroom. The PDP focuses on four core areas of development: Social-Emotional, Cognitive, Intellectual, and Physical, otherwise known as the S.C.I.P. Curriculum.

The staff at Bloom Children's Center all have a significant background in childcare, and have all added their own unique value to the organization. Patricia Edmonds, owner of Bloom Children's Center adds: "In addition to having an extensive background in child care, our staff genuinely cares about the safety and well-being of the children. That is something that no organization, schooling or experience can teach."

Bloom Children's Center is currently enrolling new children between 6 weeks and 12 years old, and will be conducting tours this fall between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call and set up your time today because enrollment slots are filling fast.
