Beat the heat at Addison Park District's Pool

As the weather heats up the public can cool down at the Addison Park District outdoor pool located in Community Park, 120 E. Oak Street. The pool is open extended hours from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21.

The Family Aquatic Center, as the outdoor pool is also known, features a zero-depth splash pad for ages 9 months and up that is adjacent to a 50-meter L-shaped pool with 6 lanes for lap swimming and a diving well with 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards. A concession area with umbrella tables in addition to beverage and ice-cream vending machines are also available.
