Give blood, fuel up at Club Fitness blood drive July 5

The public is invited to give blood, sweat and tears optional, at a Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 5 at Club Fitness, 1776 W. Centennial Place, located just south of Lake Street and east of Rohlwing Road in Addison.

LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, will be receiving blood donations between 3 and 8 p.m. Donors are encouraged to eat well and stay hydrated prior to giving blood. Appointments are encouraged and may be scheduled by calling Judy Socha at (630) 628-1959 or register online at www.lifesource.org using sponsor code: G106.

Walk-ins are also welcome for the blood drive and proper ID cards such as a LifeSource or Military ID card or state driver's license are required by each donor. As an added incentive, anyone who donates blood during this event is eligible to receive a $15 Shell gas card, one gift card per person.
