At Lake Forest: Third-seeded Stevenson eliminated No. 14 Wheeling with a 25-16, 25-22 decision. The Patriots will meet Warren, which topped Lake Forest in two games, in the regional championship round.

Wheeling got 7 kills from Kevin Leska and 4 kills apiece from Zach Nauert and Brandon Fox. Nate Lichtenberger led the way with 13 digs and Dan Speidel had 20 assists for Wheeling (17-16-1).

At Antioch: Fourth-seeded Vernon Hills ousted No. 13 Palatine 25-19, 25-20 and will meet Highland Park, a decisive winner against Zion-Benton, in regional title action.

Palatine (16-20) got its top performances from Kevin O’Shea (5 kills) and senior Justin Ginter (14 assists, 7 digs)

At St. Viator: The host Lions saw their season come to an end in a 25-14, 25-15 loss to Glenbrook South. The Titans will meet Maine South, which ousted Evanston 25-16, 25-19, in regional final play.

At Mundelein: No. 2 seed Barrington rolled past Lake Zurich 25-17, 25-17 and will face Libertyville in the regional championship round.

At St. Charles North: Glenbard West topped Rolling Meadows 25-23, 25-15 and will meet No. 11 seed St. Charles East, which surprised No. 6 Glenbard in three games, in the regional title round.

At Deerfield: Top seed Buffalo Grove ended Fremd’s season with a 25-13, 25-13 decision and will meet Deerfield, a winner against Carmel on Tuesday, in the regional title match.

At Lake Park: No. 8 seed Schaumburg dropped the first game but rallied to eliminate West Chicago 17-25, 25-23, 25-16. The Saxons got a 12-for-14 serving performance and 4 aces from Andrew Stetter; they’ll face the host Lancers, which topped St. Charles East, for the regional championship.

At Niles West: Prospect eked out a 27-25 win against the hosts before droping the next two 25-14, 25-21. Niles West will meet No. 2 seed Glenbrook North in regional title action.

At Maine East: Hersey rallied to beat the hosts 21-25, 25-15, 25-20 and will meet Niles North, which topped Maine West 25-12, 25-19, in the regional title round.
