The Grant sophomore broke the school’s season record for steals on Saturday when he rolled up 4 stolen bases in Grant’s 9-5 victory over Wilmot. Ring now has 36 stolen bases on the season, breaking the old school record of 33.
Ring also went 2-for-4 at the plate. The Bulldogs got 2 hits, including a double, from Tyler Gorski as well. And Jared Helmich drove in 2 runs.
Zach Niedrich got the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. He gave up just 1 hit in four innings.
