Kidz Kabaret Presents “Parent Prom” 'The Long & Winding Road” – It's not your Teen's Prom

If someone offers you over 800 tuxedos…what do you do? If you are a part of Kidz Kabaret, you throw a prom..of course you do – and it's not your kid's prom – it is a PARENT PROM…But that is the creativity that comes out of Kidz Kabaret and Center Stage Theater – filled with community spirit, originality, and fun.

“The Long & Winding Road,” Parent Prom fundraiser will be held Saturday, May 21, 6:30PM-11:30PM at the Center Stage Theater Spotlight Room, 1665 Quincy Avenue, Suite 143; Naperville, IL

This black tie formal event gives adults an opportunity to “go back in time” and remember how far they have come, while dressing in formal attire, enjoying lovely food by Carrabbas of Naperville, viewing an improv show and cabaret-style entertainment by the Center Stage Players. And the community continues to be involved with Kidz Kabaret, as many donors are making this program a success.

But, what is a Prom without the trimmings? Dancing, photos, and flowers are all included in the package. But the coup de gras is the crowning of the “King & Queen” of the evening – awarded by the winning of the grand prize raffle. Other lucky “court” couples will also in prizes.

“As parents, we are so busy helping our teens get ready for their proms, pictures, dresses, tuxes, and when we received the tuxes, we knew we had a great excuse to get our husbands in tuxedos again!” said Kandiss Hernandez, Executive Director of Kidz Kabaret and Center Stage Theater.”
