Wauconda 15, North Chicago 0: Ryan Gick was 2-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI, and winning pitcher David Diol struck out 13 in 5 innings, as the Bulldogs cruised in North Suburban Prairie action.

Diol and Jeremy Wagner also doubled for Wauconda (8-3). Jack Botheroyd tripled.

Stevenson 12, Zion-Benton 2: Dalsen Ferbert (2-0) allowed 2 runs over 5 innings, striking out a pair and walking one in the North Suburban Lake game.

Ricky Kern was 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI for Stevenson (8-2, 4-0), and Adam Walton went 2-for-3 with a double.

Libertyville 13, Lake Zurich 3: For the second straight day, Nick Coutre homered and the Wildcats defeated the Bears in North Suburban Lake play.

Davis Ogilvie also hit a home run for Libertyville (6-5, 2-2), while Kevin McQuillen smacked a double. Coutre, Anthony Mack and Jake Duguid each went 2-for-3 for the Wildcats. Dar Townsend pitched a five-inning complete game with 6 strikeouts.

Lake Zurich (3-8, 0-4) was led offensively by Sean Eder, who went 2-for-3 for the second day in a row.

Warren 9, McHenry 1: Alex Letto homered, doubled and knocked in 3 runs, and Ryan McKeon (2 RBI) and Ryan Kennedy were both 2-for-3 for the Blue Devils (8-4) in their nonconference win.

Tanner Erbach pitched 4 innings for the win, scattering 3 hits, allowing 1 run and striking out four.
