The Gallery Theater in West Chicago is in rehearsals for their March production, "Votes for Women and Nothing Less."

The performances will be held at 104 Sherman St. in West Chicago on March 11-12 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket price is $5.

The original drama, "Votes for Women and Nothing Less," is being presented in recognition of Women's History Month. It is the story of two women, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, who worked tirelessly for over 50 years to secure the right to vote.

The play highlights their struggles, their humor, and their frustrations. Even though, they did not see the passage of the women's rights amendment in their lifetime, they are credited with setting the spark that eventually ignited women around the world to rally for their right to vote.
