Addison Parks offers field trip for kids

The “Fun Specialists” of Addison Park District are taking a field trip for kids to Kohl's Children's Museum in Glenview on Monday, Feb. 21. There will be no school in session that day in recognition of the Presidents Day holiday.

Addison Park District's Day Off Fun is available on non-school days from 7 to 6:15 p.m. at Centennial Recreation Center, 1776 W. Centennial Place. The field trip on Monday, Feb. 21 to Kohl's Children's Museum will depart at 9:30 a.m. and return to Addison at 2:30 p.m. Each participant is required to bring a sack lunch and a drink for the day.

Named one of the best children's museums in the country by Parents Magazine, Kohl's Children's Museum features more than 20 interactive and age-appropriate learning areas including infant and preschool stations. Children can explore science, math, technology, nature, art and music though the various exhibits.
