The Stevenson and Zion-Benton boys basketball teams played another close North Suburban Lake Division game Tuesday night, this time in Zion.
And, like the last time in Lincolnshire, Zion-Benton prevailed.
Dondre Osborne scored 14 points, Owen Worthington added 12 and Tyrone Jackson had 10, as the Zee-Bees won 52-50 in overtime.
Stevenson’s Kevin Earl hit a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left to tie the score at 49-49 and force OT.
Stevenson (8-9, 2-5) received a game- and season-high 17 points from Ryan Chapman, who sank five 3-pointers.
Troy Radtke added 11 points for the Patriots, while Earl finished with nine.
Grayslake Central 64, Woodstock North 39: Tim Abbott scored 13 points, and Kyle Shepard added 11 for the Rams, who won their sixth in a row.
The win improved Grayslake Central’s record to 10-8 and 5-1 in the Fox Valley Fox Division. The Rams are tied for first place with Grayslake North.
Round Lake 63, Antioch 48: The Panthers’ Juddon Carter scored 25 points, including five 3-pointers. Danny Uriostegui had 11 points, and Nick Lange added 9.
Round Lake improved to 5-12 overall and 3-4 in the North Suburban Prairie.
Antioch fell to 3-19, 0-8 with its 10th straight defeat.
North Chicago 91, Wauconda 56: Tyler Gick scored 18 points, and Matt Mead added 10 for Wauconda (6-14, 2-6 North Suburban Prairie).
Aaron Simpson and JayQuan McCloud scored 24 and 22 points, respectively, for North Chicago (7-1 NSC Prairie).
