Burlington holds off N. Boone in 2 OTs

Burlington Central 52, North Boone 49: Alli Settanni scored 19 points and Sarah Nelson chipped in 13 as Burlington Central (8-9, 2-1) outlasted North Boone in a double overtime Big Northern East game in Poplar Grove.

Hampshire 57, Genoa-Kingston 40: Alex Dumoulin scored 20 points and Jessie Van Dorin added 13 as the Whip-Purs (13-1) won this Big Northern crossover game. Karla Vietinghoff and Jenny Dumoulin had 8 points each for the Whip-Purs.

Jacobs 45, CL South 41: Melanie Schwerdtmann had 14 points and Haley Hofman 12 as Jacobs (2-13, 1-2) won in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division. Jess Tennant added 9 points for the Golden Eagles, while Brittany Pittas scored 26 points to lead Crystal Lake South (2-14, 0-3).

Huntley 63, Dundee-Crown 38: Carly Goede’s 19 points led the Red Raiders (9-4, 3-0) to a FVC Valley win over D-C. Meagan Flynn added 10 points for Huntley and Kadie Lowery had 9. Ali Sanders led the Chargers (4-12, 0-3) with 15 points and Carlin Faulkner added 7.

Cary-Grove 51, McHenry 23: Claire Jakubicek scored 23 points as the Trojans (12-3, 3-0) rolled to an easy FVC Valley win. Olivia Jakubicek added 8 points for Cary-Grove.
