Rosary to offer hoops camp for girls

Rosary High School will hold “Holiday Hoops 2010,” a shooting camp for girls in fifth through eighth grades. Presented by the coaching staff and current Rosary players, the camp will help participants strengthen their playing skills.

Camp dates are Monday, Dec. 27, and Wednesday, Dec. 29, with fifth- and sixth-graders meeting from 9 a.m. to noon and seventh- and eighth-graders meeting from 1 to 4 p.m.

Registration forms are available at www.rosaryhs.com/pages/sportscamps.asp. A completed registration form and fee of $35, checks payable to Dave Beebe, should be sent to the Rosary Athletic Department. The walk-in registration fee is $45. All camp participants will receive a Holiday Hoops 2010 T-shirt.

Rosary High School is an all-girls, Catholic, college-preparatory high school, sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield. The school is at 901 N. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora.
