Last year: 9-19, 3-11, seventh in DuPage Valley Conference; lost 80-57 to Glenbard East in Class 4A Willowbrook regional semifinals.

Scouting report: Vast experience lies in the Falcons’ favor this season. Finley, Schalk and Fitzpatrick each enter their third varsity season. Finley, Wayhart and Barry return as starters. Schalk and Barry averaged nearly 11 points apiece while Wayhart and Finley added 7 points each. This deep group won’t have trouble scoring, especially with Wayhart on the perimeter and Schalk and Barry who averaged a combined 13 rebounds last year in the post. Improvement, however, must come on defense after the Falcons allowed 65 points a game last year. If Wheaton North defends better, many more wins will follow. “If we’re going to succeed we definitely have to defend better,” Nazos said. “With the experience we have, I think we can do it.”
