Outlook: These are the definitive top Gold teams with a combined margin of victory of 287-27. Downers South hasn't allowed a point in the Gold. Addison Trail's offense can challenge the Mustangs, starting with junior quarterback Trevor Bermingham, who last week became the first Blazers quarterback since 2000 to throw 4 touchdown passes in a game. Regardless of Bermingham's emergence, however, Addison Trail remains a run-first offense led by Anthony Messina. The Mustangs also rely on the run with talented running back Josh Williams, but an ankle injury kept him out last week. He and big-play receiver Ryan Oruche should return for this one.
