Skinny: It's a huge game for Grayslake Central, which gets the chance on its home field to knock off seemingly the top team in the Fox Valley Fox. Prairie Ridge leads the division by a half game over the Rams, who have dropped three of their last four. The Wolves have scored 212 points (35.3 per game) and have allowed only 42 points. They're led offensively by workhorse RB Connor Greenwald, who rushed for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 carries against Grayslake North. He also kicked a field goal. Wolves QB Stephen Covalt threw a TD pass and ran for a score. ... A win clinches a sixth straight playoff berth for coach Chris Schremp's squad. "Our toughest test of the season," Grayslake Central coach Nick Goshe said. "(Prairie Ridge is) the best-coached team in the conference ... and talented." ... Grayslake Central has some talent of its own. Joey Valdivia and Vinnie Culhane lead a ground game with 562 and 543 rushing yards, respectively. Speedy Jahard Nelson has rushed for 250 yards. The Rams average 21.3 points per game and allow an average of 18.8.
