Scouting Grayslake North at Prairie Ridge

Grayslake North (3-2, 1-2) at Prairie Ridge (4-1, 2-0)

Last week: Grayslake North lost to Crystal Lake Central, 33-6; Prairie Ridge def. Lake Forest Academy, 48-6.

Skinny: Grayslake North doesn't have an easy game left on its schedule. After managing just a touchdown (by QB A.J. Fish) in their home loss to Crystal Lake Central, the Knights face a talented Prairie Ridge team that has scored 181 points and allowed only 42. The Wolves and Grayslake Central (3-0) are the only undefeated teams in the FVC Fox. Prairie Ridge features a potent running game featuring RB Connor Greenwald (476 rushing yds., 5.3 avg., 12 TDs) and QB Stephen Covalt (352 rushing yds., 8.3 avg., 3 TDs; 275 passing yds., 4 TD passes). The Wolves' only loss is to undefeated Crystal Lake South, 24-20, in Week 4. ... Grayslake North's offense features the sophomore Fish (198 rushing yds., 5 TDs) and RB David Collins (490 yds., 5.7 avg., 4 TDs).
