Lauren Hartford had 5 kills and Jacki Gulczynski added four as the Bartlett girls volleyball team downed Hoffman Estates 25-13, 25-13 Wednesday for its first win of the season.

Kelly Kraft and Megan Zmich each had 3 kills for Bartlett (1-2), while Hartford added 11 digs and Tori Burke had 14 assists.

Hampshire d. Rockford Lutheran: Alex Dumoulin served 5 aces and Alyssa Kissane had four to lead Hampshire to a 25-14, 26-24 nonconference win in the Whip-Purs' season opener. Melanie Bonk had 3 kills, Tia Incapreo 4 digs and Leigh-Anne Libby 15 assists for the Whips.

Westminster Christian d. Keith: Kara Tyrell had 9 kills, 8 aces and 5 digs to lead the Warriors (2-1, 1-0) to a 24-26, 25-23, 25-16 win in the Northeast Athletic Conference. Hannah Graves added 23 assists, 4 kills and 6 digs for Westminster and Whitney VandenBos had 5 aces, 8 digs and 24 good passes.
