Crock pot Italian Round Steak

2 pounds round steak, cut into 8 piecesSteak seasoning blend, to tasteFlour2 tablespoons cooking oil, or more if needed 28 ounces stewed tomatoes, juice reserved1 cup chopped onion#189; cup green pepper, chopped fine#188; teaspoon minced garlic#189;teaspoon oregano1#189; teaspoons Worcestershire sauce2 beef bouillon cubes1#188; cup liquid (reserved tomato juice plus hot water)2 tablespoons cornstarch2 tablespoons waterPlace round steak pieces on wax paper and sprinkle with steak seasoning and flour. Cover with another piece of wax paper and pound lightly with a meat mallet to about 1/2-inch thick.Heat cooking oil in skillet and brown meat, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Place pieces in slow cooker.In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, green pepper, garlic, oregano and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over steak. Dissolve bouillon cubes in reserved tomato/hot water mixture and pour over all.Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until tender. When meat is tender, increase heat setting to high. Combine cornstarch and water; then stir into hot liquid to thicken. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.Serves eight.
