Burlington Central 2, Richmond-Burton 1: Madalene Stoneman continued her strong play as she led the Rockets (8-3-3, 4-1) to a victory over Richmond-Burton in this Big Northern East matchup. Stoneman scored once in the first half off a penalty kick, and in the second half off an assist from Heather Krup. Caitlin Solberg turned away 5 shots on goal for the Rockets.
Crystal Lake South 3, Dundee-Crown 1: The Gators (12-6-2, 4-1) waited until the second half to score, but pulled off a Fox Valley (Valley Division) victory over the Chargers (4-8-3, 1-5) at home. Kali Loescher, Christina Szocka, and Emma Dalzell all recorded goals for the Gators while Hannah Larson scored the Chargers' lone goal. Beth McGinn stopped 2 shots on goal for the Gators while the Chargers' Deanna Libricz turned away 12 shots on goal.
Huntley 3, McHenry 1: The Red Raiders (16-3, 6-1) got on the board in the first half and added 2 more goals in the second half en route to a Fox Valley (Valley) victory over visiting McHenry. Sophomore Ashley Schorr recorded the Red Raiders' first goal as she was assisted by Sam Zobott. Aimee Wronski and Kelly Creager added Huntley's final two goals while Lauren Gaitsch added an assist. Kaytlyn Owens recorded 3 saves in goal for the Red Raiders.
Bartlett 4, Streamwood 0: The Hawks showed a balanced scoring attack as four different players scored in an Upstate Eight Conference victory over Streamwood. Nicki Noreen, Tina Fairbanks, Amanda Zindel, and Rachel Irwin all recorded goals to pace the Hawks' offense. Brianna Roppo recorded 11 saves in goal for the Sabres.
Hampshire 10, North Boone 0: The Whip-Purs (12-5, 5-0) came out firing on all cylinders Thursday afternoon as they recorded 9 first-half goals en route to a Big Northern East victory over North Boone at home. Cassie Dumoulin paced the Whip-Purs with a hat trick while Dichelle Spielman added 2 goals and Alex Field, Paige Palubicki, Tami Mason, Dakota Walther, and Kelsey Burke each chipped in 1 goal apiece. Haylee Moscato was not tested in goal for the Whip-Purs, but the defense preserved the shutout.
