Lake Park 13, Elgin 1: Sarah Koch homered twice and drove in 6 runs to power the No. 5 Lancers (3-1, 1-0 Upstate Eight) in Elgin. Kelly Mieszala homered and doubled and Angie Bates (3-1) struck out nine.
WW South 7, Benet 1: Julianne LaFleur twirled a 2-hitter as the Tigers (6-4) upended No. 11 Benet in Wheaton.
Timothy Christian 4, Latin School 2: Audie Smith went 2-for-3 with a double, and threw out a runner from behind the plate for the Trojans (2-1). Janna Strodtman struck out nine. Ashley Tameling drove in a run.
