Northwest Culture Bus: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. alternating Wednesdays from Jan. 13-March 24. The winter session of the North/Northwest Culture Bus, sponsored by the Barrington Area Council on Aging and CJE-Senior Life provides a series of cultural outings designed for people experiencing early memory loss. AARP Income Tax Assistance: The Barrington Area Council on Aging is offering the AARP Income Tax Assistance Program. Trained AARP volunteers will assist seniors with their taxes at the BACOA office, 6000 Garlands Lane, suite 100, Barrington. Memory screenings: As-needed basis, Prairieview Building at The Garlands of Barrington, 6000 Garlands Lane, suite 100, Barrington. The Barrington Area Council on Aging is offering free memory screenings designed to promote early detection and intervention for those concerned about memory loss.
