When: 10:30 a.m. Saturday

Teams to Watch: This looks to be a two-team race between Palatine and Prospect. Palatine is shooting for its seventh consecutive title and Chano Bernardo and Alec Bollman lead a team that has been challenged with a demanding schedule. Prospect is deep and has switched lineups all season but senior Chris Spudic has been there to lead the charge. Palatine and Prospect rank 4-5 in the Illinois Cross Country Coaches Poll. Buffalo Grove, Schaumburg, Fremd, Barrington, and host Hersey will battle it out for the remaining spots in the top five.

Individuals to Watch: Pat Lesiewicz (Schaumburg), Chano Bernardo (Palatine), Alec Bollman (Palatine), Chris Spudic (Prospect), Albert Ciolek (Prospect), Photis Karkalis (Rolling Meadows), Angelos Karkalis (Rolling Meadows), Aaron Ferst (Fremd), Spiros Angelakos (Fremd), Jereme Atchison (Buffalo Grove), Chris Cogswell (Barrington), Kyle Docker (Barrington), Matt Cwiok (Hersey).
