The Westminster Christian boys soccer team scored twice in the first half and never looked back Tuesday, downing Indian Creek 4-1 in a nonconference match played in Elgin.

Ishmeal Yemoh (1 goal, 2 assists) and Ryan Beachler (1 goal, 1 assist) led the offensive attack for the Warriors (2-1) while J.J. Marshall and Chris Richardson each added a goal a piece. Scott Sutarik recorded 12 saves in goal.

Conant 2, Streamwood 0: The Sabres (1-2-1) were unable to push a goal through en route to a 2-0 shutout loss to Conant in the Lake Park Classic. Edgar Leyva recorded 6 saves on the night.

St. Edward 5, Guerin 0: The Green Wave (1-1, 1-0) scored early and often cruising to a 5-0 home victory.

St. Edward was led by a balanced offensive attack as Mark Olenek, Alex Ptak, Carlos Moreno, Hector Alvarez, and John Shepherd all recorded goals. Jim Cholewa earned the shutout in goal with 5 saves.

Geneva 1, Larkin 0: The Royals (0-3-2) played an even match but were unable to get on the board in their 1-0 home loss to Geneva. The Vikings scored with 13 minutes left in the match to secure the victory. Omar Hernandez recorded 10 saves in goal for the Royals.

West Chicago 2, Elgin 0: The Maroons (1-1) battled tough for the first half before surrendering 2 second half goals en route to a 2-0 loss at West Chicago. Osiel Ravadan recorded 7 saves in goal for the Maroons.
