Hungarian-born artist Judith Laczo's oil and soft pastel renderings of her world travels are on exhibit through August 3 at West Chicago Gallery 200, 200 Main Street. Laczo was also recently chosen to be included in the "Best of the Best Exhibit" at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook in September. Gallery 200 is open from noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Custom bike show:

The Promenade Bolingbrook will host its first Custom Motorcycle Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, July 18, at the shopping center, 631 E. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook. The event will display some of the area's most heavily decorated vehicles and will include bean bag games, music and awards for the bikes. Trophy categories include: Best of Show, Peoples Choice, Most Unique Paint and Team Participation. For details, visit thepromenadebolingbrook.com.

CDH foundation president named:

Craig A. Hutchison has been selected as president of Central DuPage Health Foundation at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. The 57-year-old most recently was president and CEO of Perry Judd's, Inc., the seventh largest commercial printing company in the nation. Hutchison will lead the foundation's fundraising efforts of individual, corporate and planned gifts. He received his bachelor's degree in marketing from Indiana University.

Shakespeare in Cantigny Park:

The Midsummer Theatre Troupe is scheduled to perform "The Taming of the Shrew" 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19, in the gardens at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. Tickets are $10 each and can be ordered by calling (630) 260-8162. For the outdoor event, guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Picnics are welcome. The rain date is July 26.
