Johnny Amann was 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI and Nick Panvino scattered 4 hits as Jacobs downed Dundee-Crown 12-2 Friday in Fox Valley Conference Valley Division baseball action.

Ricky Ames (2-for-2, 2 RBI), Panvino (2-for-3, 2 RBI) and Jake Vojtsek (2 RBI) led the offense for the Golden Eagles. Kirk Hanselman had a double for Dundee-Crown.

Elgin 5, DeKalb 4: The Maroons won for the third time in their last four games with this nonconference triumph. Lee Jackson tossed 4 innings and allowed just 3 hits to pick up the win for Elgin (4-27). Jackson was also 2-for-4 at the plate, while Adam Jazwiec and Kasey Knaak each had RBI.

CL South 9, Woodstock 5: Alex MacAuley hit a grand slam home run to lead South (21-12, 9-6) to an FVC Valley win. Easton Kowalski was the winning pitcher for the Gators.

Huntley 8, Johnsburg 0: Craig Lipp (7-1) fired a 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts as the Red Raiders (27-6-1, 12-3) closed out the FVC Fox season with a win. Lipp, Tanner Funke, Zach Liebman (2 RBI) and Andre Sopena (3 RBI) each had doubles for Huntley and Phil Pupillo had a triple.
