Persian Sparkling Yogurt Drink
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint leaves
½teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly
ground black pepper
1 ½ cups sparkling mineral water or club soda
4 fresh mint leaves
Whisk yogurt until smooth.
In a pitcher, combine yogurt, chopped mint, salt and pepper. Stir well.
Gradually add mineral water, stirring gently to blend. Pour into glasses and top with a mint leaf.
Serves four.
